American Friends of Livnot U'Lehibanot (2007) Livnot U'Lehibanot targets Jews in their 20s and 30s who are disconnected, alienated and detached from their heritage – but whom Livnot believes are seeking a deeper, more meaningful and resonating relationship with their Jewish heritage. Livnot's core program is a powerful Israel trip, which creates a leadership training environment that permits each participant to challenge, inspect and revisit his or her own notion of self and connection to Judaism. The result of Livnot programs is a growing national community of dynamic, vibrant, compassionate Jews who return home to America passionate about connecting and giving back. Natan's grant will support the creation of Alumot Innovations, a new program that will offer innovative events and experiences inspired by Livnot alumni and the experiential Livnot model. |
