Mechon Hadar
Mechon Hadar's mission is to empower young Jews to build vibrant
Jewish communities. Core programs are:
- Yeshivat Hadar: the first full-time egalitarian yeshiva in America –
expanding to a full-time program in 2009.
- The Minyan Project: resources, networking and consulting for more
than 50 independent minyanim nationwide.
Mechon Hadar is a natural outgrowth of Kehilat Hadar, a thriving
independent, egalitarian, Jewish community dedicated to spirited
traditional prayer, study and social action. Natan's grant is for
general operating support.

In 2006, Rabbis Shai Held, Elie Kaunfer, and Ethan Tucker founded Mechon Hadar, which leverages the tremendous success of Kehilat Hadar on behalf of the entire independent minyan "movement."
