MATAN: the Gift of Jewish Learning for Every Child
Founded in 2000, MATAN now works with synagogues, JCCs, day schools, and other Jewish educational institutions to strengthen their ability to create inclusive communities for children with a broad range of learning differences. Natan's 2009 grant is for general operating support, to bolster MATAN's infrastructure as it grows from a local direct service organization (active in the New York metropolitan area) into a national capacity building, consulting and training organization.

MATAN creates and implements new educational models to enable all children, including those with special needs, to have access to Jewish education.
