Jumpstart
The organization provides emergent organizations with organizational, technological, and fiscal capacity-building, and partners with existing Jewish organizations to integrate emergent values and approaches into their work.
Jumpstart's mission is to strengthen emerging Jewish organizations that build communities based on spirituality, learning, social activism, and culture. Its founders, J. Shawn Landres and Joshua Avedon, created the organization in 2008 in order to provide thought leadership for the "emergent sector," assessing key trends, spotlighting effective innovation, and leveraging new insights for use by practitioners, funders, and other leaders.
Natan's grant is for general operating support.
