IsraelGives.org
In partnership with GivingWisely.org, Guidestar-Israel, Midot.org.il, IsraHelp.com, and leading academic institutions, the site will be an authoritative source of information on Israel's charitable sector, and a major contribution to responsible philanthropy, as well as being a secure and accessible location for online donations to Israeli organizations.
IsraelGives.org will be the central website for charitable giving to Israel. The brainchild of Joseph Gitler and Yonatan Ben-Dor, the developers of Table to Table, IsraelGives.org will be a trilingual website with detailed information on all of Israel's 26,000 non-profit organizations, including official documentation submitted to government authorities, volunteer opportunities, and an evaluative assessment of the charities' performance and transparency. IsraelGives.org will also be an e-philanthropy marketplace, where users can compare donation opportunities and make online donations to any of the charities registered on the website. Users will also be able to fundraise for the organizations through fundraising challenges, give gift certificates and Jewish holiday e-cards, and more. Natan's grant is for general operating support in the site's development and launch stage. |
