Eden Association for the Promotion of Educational and Social Projects in Negev

The Eden Association operates a hostel for 24 homeless, at-risk young girls. All of the girls have been removed from their homes by official court orders because of their exposure to sexual or physical violence and abuse, and they suffer from extreme emotional stress and anxiety.

Since 2006, the area around the hostel has come under daily Qassam missile attacks from the Gaza Strip. Natan's grants to the Eden Association have enabled it to build concrete bomb shelters attached to several of the Association's buildings, bringing the girls and the staff some measure of physical and psychological safety from the rocket attacks.
