Keshet

Since 2001, Keshet has offered gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) Jews avenues for connection to Jewish identity and community, while simultaneously working for change in the Jewish communities of greater Boston.

Its documentary film Hineini: Coming Out in a Jewish High School (whose curriculum guide the Natan board supported in 2006) enabled the organization to begin to make a national impact.

Natan's grant in 2008 will further expand that impact by supporting the Shalem Education Project, a national program for Jewish Safe Schools & Supportive Communities offering resources, training, and technical assistance for GLBT inclusion.
