Jewish Children's Regional Service

The Jewish Children's Regional Service assists Jewish youth in the South to become well-adjusted, successful and self-supporting adults.

Headquartered in Metairie, LA, JCRS was on the front lines of the devastating Hurricanes Katrina and Rita (2005). Even in 2007, the region continued to experience a net outflow of Jewish families with children as a result of diminished job opportunities, affordable housing, healthcare, educational and recreational options, public services and law enforcement.

Natan's grant to JCRS provides economic, social, and psychological aid to Jewish families who are still encountering problems associated with the hurricanes.
