IKAR

IKAR is an emergent, independent Jewish spiritual community in Los Angeles. IKAR is committed to creating a place where soulful prayer and serious Jewish learning can inspire tikkun olam (repair of the world) among its mostly young members, most of whom are in their 20s and 30s.

Through its diverse Shabbat, holiday, social, and community service programs, IKAR is fostering a new model of community for young Jews in Los Angeles.

Natan has supported IKAR through challenge grants to help the organization raise new and additional funds from its members and from local philanthropists and foundations.
